PropLogix Releases State of the Title Industry Report

Report reveals 46% of Title Professionals Say Peer's Due Diligence "Could Be Better"

For the second year, PropLogix has surveyed title industry professionals about their struggles and successes and compiled the results into their State of the Title Industry report.

The report draws from the responses of more than 400 title professionals and is focused around the closing experience within title agencies and real estate law firms for everyone from owners, executives, attorneys, managers, closers, and processors.

For the second year in a row, the report shows title professionals’ #1 challenge is facing too many responsibilities with not enough time to perform those responsibilities. Not only did the survey find that 46% of title professionals say their peers could be better at due diligence, 72% think lack of time is impacting how well due diligence is being performed. The report also looks at what points these professionals outsource work to vendors who help them complete various aspects of pre-closing and post-closing duties.

PropLogix held a webinar to discuss the data in the report and released the report early webinar attendees and those who took the survey on July 10. The report can be downloaded on the company’s website.
